Visit Alex in La Jolla
We took a trip down to La Jolla to see my old tax attorney Alex Alonzo. I knew him since 2001 or so when I moved to Palo Alto initially. It was awesome to catch up with him and to pick his brain about property investments. We looked at a beach property here, but ultimately thought that it would require too much work to bring it up to modern rental standards.
We also stopped by a playground by the ocean, which was very nice. Even though it was overcast, the weather was mild. We like the La Jolla environment. It’s definitely a great place to retire.
