Hui Family
This is a fairly long post with lots of pictures of my family. Today, my mom brought out a lot of the old pictures of our family. She usually doesn’t do this, but she must have felt the need.
I’ll try to describe as much as I can about each picture so that at least my kids will have a good idea of who is who.
Picture of my mom. No idea when this was taken, but obviously when she was quite young.
Picture of my dad. I have no idea how old he was here.
Picture of my mom and dad. This looks like it was taken around the time they got married.
This is a picture of my mom, my sister Maggie, and my dad. My sister looks like she’s about 10 in
this picture. My guess is that perhaps my mom is pregnant with me at the time.
Picture of my mom and me. I look to be less than one years old.
Picture of me and my sister. I look to be around four years old. Those are either some really tall shorts or I had
an extremely short torso. I think this was taken in Hong Kong.
Picture of unknown man, my dad, me, unknown woman, my mom, grandma (mom’s mom), and my sister. I look
to be about 3 or 4 years old, so this would have been in Hong Kong. Probably before we left for the USA.

my cousin from my dad’s sister.

Picture of me, my grandma, my niece Pamela, and my sister. Pamela looks to be a little less than one years old, so
I would have been twelve or thirteen at the time.
Blurry picture of my sister, me, my grandpa, and my mom. I had to be at least 5 here because this was taken in Oakland
at my grandpa’s brother’s house.
This picture of my dad was taken in San Francisco. I don’t know how old he was then, but judging from the furniture
and layout, this had to be either 1975, 1976, or 1977 in our first apartment on the corner of Leavenworth and Jackson.
Pictures of my high school graduation. I was 17 at the time.
